LIVE BAND
What is the planning process leading up to the event?
After booking, we will send you an exclusive Client Portal with your planning documents, including a questionnaire that will provide us with all of the information we need to get prepared. Throughout the planning process, one of our friendly talent coordinators will be here to guide you each step of the way!
How do the band’s sets work?
For 3 hours of music, there would be a maximum of 2 45-minute sets and 1 60-minute set. Unless you hired one of our DJs to perform during the band’s breaks, our sound team will be able to play MP3 playlists whenever the band is not performing.
What if we want more than 3 hours of music?
No problem! We can add an additional hour of music (4 hours maximum, with 3 short breaks) for $200 per musician, plus $200 for our sound team. Just let us know, and we will update your invoice and contract to reflect the additional hour.
What if we want the band to play in multiple locations?
Some of our clients like to have a smaller version of the band play for a cocktail hour or welcome reception before the main event begins. We can add an additional sound system for a breakout performance for $300, plus $200 per each musician (2-3 musicians is most common for breakout performances).
What are your rider requirements?
You can review our Rider Requirements here. Some important rider requirements are noted below:
We ask for hot meals and water for each of our crew members (normally, the number of musicians in your band plus 1-2 sound technicians), and a 30-minute dinner break for our crew at any time that is most convenient for your timeline. This can take place before the band is set to begin their performance.
Although a vendor green room is always appreciated, we understand that this isn't always feasible. A designated area with a table and chairs for our crew works great in most cases.
We also ask that parking is made available for all of our musicians and crew members.
What are your technical requirements?
We ask for access to reliable power sources for each of our sound system setups. 3 20-amp dedicated circuits works great for the main performance. 1-2 20-amp dedicated circuits works great for any breakout performances. Feel free to put us in touch with your venue so we can discuss electrical needs with them directly.
We do not require a stage, but we strongly recommend one for aesthetic reasons. Minimum stage dimensions varies by band size. You can learn more my reviewing our Event Rider here.
When are the deposit and balance payments due?
We ask for a 50% deposit up front to hold the date. The remaining 50% is due no later than 1 week before the event.
